Ghost Market Volunteer Process
Ghost Market runs on community. Not corporate volunteers. Not forced labor. Community.
If you want to be part of building this thing from the inside, here’s how it works:

At the start of each season, we’ll put out a general call for volunteers.
If you’re interested in helping behind the scenes, you can:
Raise your hand to be contacted first
Join our volunteer interest list
Get early access to event-specific sign-ups
This helps us build a real, reliable crew to ensure efficient day-of coordination.

When vendor applications drop, volunteer opportunities drop too.
Vendors can indicate volunteer interest directly in the vendor application.
No separate volunteer form required.
Sign-up sheets are private.
Only those who opt in will receive access to the event task sheet.

Ghost Market will designate a Volunteer Coordinator to:
Communicate expectations clearly
Make sure tasks are claimed
Keep things moving on event day
Track credits accurately
At first, this will likely be handled internally until someone naturally proves they’re the right fit to run point.
We expect this system to evolve and we’ll refine as we go.

For each event:
A private Google Sheet will be created with clear, defined tasks.
Only confirmed volunteers get access.
Volunteers claim tasks in advance.
Final confirmations and expectations are emailed before the event.
If you sign up, we’re counting on you. Ghost Market works because people show up.

For Vendors:
If you help build the market, you share in the benefit.
Discounted Show Fees (Credits)
You can earn credits by helping with:An event you are vending at

General Ghost Market / Co-Op support
Preferred Selection (When Needed)
If we’re short on help for an event, vendors who are willing to volunteer may be prioritized. This isn’t a loophole, it’s practical. We need the crew to execute well.Volunteering does not guarantee acceptance. Curation still matters.
For Individuals (Non-Vendors):
You don’t have to be a part of this world (insert little mermaid tune, you’re welcome).
If you want to help build something creative and community-driven, we’re here for that.
Non-vendor volunteers may receive:
Ghost Market merch (stickers, pins, totes, etc.)
Behind-the-scenes access
First notice of future opportunities
Real connection with the vendor community
We want new energy. We want good people.
